I watch 'The Ellen Show' via 'youtube' each day for years now. I saw this video about Robbie Twible /12 yrs/ which made me cry feeling shame deep inside and re-think everything about my own /very very small/ problems. I named it a 'wake up' call. Might sound a bit typical but it's not. This little guy has an illness I've never even heard of and yet he is smiling and doing things every day like there is a future for him. Let's hope there is!!!

Robbie's Parents look really nice and seem very good people. Hats off for them because I don't know if I can be that strong. I don't have a kid or kids but I can imagine what it feels like when there is no cure and you have to keep going for your 'baby boy'. They deserve all the help along this road. They treat him every day and Robbie loves 'The Ellen Show' which helps him to get through the pain.

Robbie just accepts his Life the way it is, he deals with it every day and he doesn't feel sorry for himself. One day at a time. I think many of us have to learn this. WE can be much more kind and patient if we acknowledge that our Lives are worth living and we are worth loving. Just this. WE can do it people!
